The Education of Gifted and Talented Children
December 16, 2007 – 1:53 pmThe Senate referred this inquiry to the Committee on 12 October 2000. It follows up a 1988 report by the Senate Select Committee on the Education of Gifted and Talented Children.
The current inquiry was prompted by continuing concerns about whether the education system adequately acknowledges and responds to the special needs of intellectually gifted children.
